I work for a non-profit organization. Can I use the software for free?
As of July 2010, anyone can use OpenDragon for free, subject to the
restrictions in our License Agreement.
What are the restrictions on using OpenDragon?
Please read our License Agreement for information on
what you may and may not do with OpenDragon.
You say that OpenDragon is now "open source". Does that
mean that the source
code for the software is freely available?
We are working on creating the necessary
documentation to support distribution of the
source code. We expect the source code to be
available from this site sometime, but
this depends on our finding a source of funding.
I've written some original software that I'd like to contribute
to the OpenDragon project. How do I do that?
Contact us using the contributor
form. Tell us about who you are and the software you
have created.
Are there any tutorials or lesson plans for use with
OpenDragon?
We are currently working on an OpenDragon tutorial
and a set of practical exercises. When they are
ready, they will be available in the Teaching Materials
section of this website. The News pages will include an
announcement when these materials are posted.
Your should also look at our
Books page.
